Local 32 (Founded In 1910) invites you to read and utilize the information that is contained herein. We will do our best to provide up-to-date information to benefit our longstanding members and our new members working to complete their studies to graduate from the NEIEP educational program.

This local is home to approximately 500 of the 25,000 members of the International Union of Elevator Constructors throughout the United States and Canada. The IUEC is the bargaining unit for Elevator Mechanics and Helpers.  Our members join with the International to participate actively in self-government; to unite into one International Union all workers eligible for membership, regardless of religion, race, creed, color, national origin, age, or sex.

Our members are responsible for: the installation, repair, modernization, maintenance and servicing of all elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters, wheelchair lifts and moving walks, elevator cabs and the drilling of holes for hydro elevators.
